Maliss is a canibal. His outlook on that statement resides in his belief that if you consume your opponents, you gain their strengths and abilities. But its been some time since he's had a delicacy such as that.

He's very removed, often displaying a cold look of emptyness, though no one can be sure what he's thinking. Maliss trys his best to stay out of high populated areas. The noise and complications only irritate him. Though his main cause for coming to the lands of Japan was not to compete in the SDL, but to find the man who fixed the shackles to his body.

Maliss' physich is an enigma. His diet of uncooked meat can only be a testiment to his resiliance. Though its been some time since his last human meal. Along with his strange shackles that cover his throat, wrists, and anckles Maliss wields a massive serrated knife. This barbaric weapon was obviously not crafted within the boundries of Japan, only making his appearance more the mystery if not to duel.
